Then you better learn how to spell ... and how to use whom while practicing good grammar. Grammarly found that American adults prefer grammar over confidence when it comes to a potential date. What? Who wants to date someone who can't spell hart (as in Valentine) correctly? Maybe he or she just typed in the wrong word, unless of course, you are a doe looking for love. Who makes the most mistakes in their online profile - women. Who uses more words - men. So why do you think that good grammar is more likely to help you win the heart of your future love?

I Love Spell Check

I may love spell checker, but sometimes I think it makes writers lazy.  I know I often have to open up a blank Word document to check on a simple word that I can't remember how to spell. This poor student has spent way too much time in front of his or her computer and can no longer spell.   If you type the following poem into Word, not a single word comes up misspelled and, according to Word, there are only four grammar mistakes. Eye Halve a Spelling Checker I halve a spelling checker It came with my pea sea It plainly marcs four my revue Miss steaks eye kin knot sea. Eye strike a key and type a word And weight four it two say Weather eye am wrong oar write It shows me strait a weigh. As soon as mist ache is maid It nose bee fore two long And eye can put the error rite Its rare lea ever wrong.
